HTTPS Sites Now Work with Google Trusted Store Badge

A week ago, we have a tendency to rumored that HTTPS sites cannot work with the Google trustworthy Store program as a result of the badge isn’t HTTPS enabled.

Well, that modified a couple of days past. The Google trustworthy Stores Team emailed their stores on October 24th that they currently have new directions out there for implementing the badge on HTTPS sites. The e-mail read:

“We’d wish to share with you that we’ve got created some changes to change stores to show the Google trustworthy Stores badge on HTTPS pages. The JavaScript should be updated so as to change the badge to show on HTTPS pages. While not this update, the badge can stay suppressed on HTTPS pages.”

The directions are presently out there during this open Google doc page and Brian William Bradford Shockley, the Owner of ShopBakersNook.com went stomach it simply days past. He’s full on HTTPS and therefore the badge shows absolutely on his site.

So it’s currently safe for Google trustworthy Stores to change over to HTTPS and still show their badges.
